Coomalie Council manages and extensive network of both sealed and unsealed roads within our boundaries. We currently have approximately 200ks of sealed roads that require bi-annual inspections, repairs, and maintenance to them leading up to the wet season and after the wet season.

Seasonal weight restrictions apply to all roads within the Shire from 1st October until 30th April each year. Sealed roads are restricted to 20 tons, and unsealed roads to 10 tons during this period. Should you wish to travel on our roads with a heavy vehicle, please contact the Works and Services team to arrange a permit at least 48 hours prior to using the roads.
